AI-Native Career Acceleration

The promo that keeps slipping. Run it like a project.

Every engagement is one-on-one. No cohorts, no group programs. For engineers and leaders at Staff, Principal, Director, VP, or moving between manager and IC.

20 minutes to see if this is a fit. No charge.

25 years inside Microsoft, Google, and Meta. 10 of those years mentoring 100+ engineers and leaders.

As a Director I took an IC role for 18 months, 22 years after my last one. That taught me more than any promotion, and leaning on AI early became my edge.

How it works

Not advice from the sidelines

We take your goal and run it like a project — scoped, planned, worked week by week, with blunt feedback.

  1. 01

    Scope & map

Your goal, your org, your stakeholders — mapped, with a plan for who to talk to and in what order.

  2. 02

    Build the artifacts

The doc that makes your thinking legible, the strategy frame, the talking points. Yours to keep.

  3. 03

    Work it weekly

You leave each session with specific tasks. We adjust as reality pushes back.

  4. 04

    My half of the work

Between sessions I research your exact situation and send resources chosen for it — strategic and technical.

  5. 05

    Retool for AI

I show you where AI moved the bar in your org, and when it fits, we build something real to clear it.

No confidential material needed, nothing against policy. We work from your real situation using only what you can share.

Outcomes, not adjectives

Over the last decade, 100+ engineers, managers, directors, and partners at the largest tech companies. Many earned a hard promotion; others got unstuck, changed direction, or grew into VP and partner roles.

He changed my trajectory, not just my title

Mahesh Kshirsagar LinkedIn

MTS, OpenAI

Over about a year he helped me earn a genuinely hard promotion to senior staff, and then did something more important: he designed working sessions to build AI agents.

I was a data engineer at Meta, established but ready for the next step, when Abhishek started mentoring me. He had me apply real software engineering skills to build an agent for the data engineering function itself. That hands-on work was pivotal to my career trajectory at Meta, eventually landing me as Member of Technical Staff role at OpenAI. He didn't just help me climb one rung. He changed my trajectory entirely.

From scattered energy to real direction

Arpita Saha LinkedIn

VP, Tempus AI

I was trying many things at once and Abhishek organized my thinking, turning my scattered energy into real direction.

When Abhishek became my manager, I was ambitious and eager to do more but I lacked a clear direction to grow toward. He pushed me deep into AI strategy for the org, coached me on stakeholder communication and managing up, gave me wide latitude to operate, and stretched me well past where I'd have aimed on my own.

Even after he left Google, I kept going back to him because his guidance remains extremely valuable to me. He is my most trusted mentor, guiding me to a VP role at Tempus AI. He helps me see when I'm operating from fear rather than clarity, recognizes what I'm capable of before I can, and has the conviction to push me toward it. I still go to him today for the big questions.

The confidence to move from manager back to IC

Pei Lu LinkedIn

Engineering, Meta

Abhishek became an invaluable mentor as I transitioned from a manager back to an IC — a challenging yet rewarding path.

I first worked with Abhishek at Azure, and years later, our paths crossed again at Meta. By then, he was a highly respected senior leader in our organization. What impressed me most wasn't just his deep leadership experience, but his remarkable foresight; he was thinking strategically about the trajectory of AI years before its impact became obvious to the wider industry. His advice was always direct, practical, and grounded in real-world experience, playing a significant role in helping me find my footing and confidence in my new role.

From doing the work to loving the field

Karen Zhou LinkedIn

MTS, Anthropic

He pushed me to think beyond the next promotion toward what actually fulfills me, which turned out to be doing meaningful work in AI.

Abhishek is one of the most empathetic mentors I've worked with, and the person who introduced me to the world of AI. He kept sharing relevant research papers and new developments. Somewhere in that process, I went from just doing the work to genuinely loving the field. I started reading papers on my own and got deep into evals. He kept mentoring me even after I moved to an entirely different org and then to a different company. His highly personalized mentoring changed the trajectory of my career.

He mapped what I couldn't see

Brijesh Warrier LinkedIn

VP, Microsoft

He did something no one else had: he mapped out my organization and the key relationships around me, helping me see the situation much more clearly.

I reached out to Abhishek in 2020 because I felt I had more potential than I was able to realize on my own. Based on his guidance, I moved to a new team where I had the full support of my manager, and I developed a much stronger sense of ownership and agency in shaping my own career. Those changes have had a lasting impact, and I've since grown into a VP role. I had written a recommendation for him years earlier about his persistence and how deeply he invests in helping people grow. A decade later, I'm living proof of exactly that.

Two ways in

Start where it makes sense

Everyone starts with the Diagnostic. It credits in full toward whatever comes next, so nothing you spend early is spent twice.

Where everyone starts

Diagnostic

$3,000

One deep session where we map your whole board. You leave with a written read of where you actually stand and a plan for the next six months, then we meet again within a week to debrief it.

One session plus a debrief within the week. Credits in full if you continue.

The main work

The Arc

$24,000

Twelve sessions over six months, with the between-session work behind every one. A real project taken end to end, long enough to change not just your title but the kind of engineer or leader you become.

Scope is set at the debrief, not before. The full arc is the default and it is where this does its best work. If your goal turns out to be narrower, one specific promotion case or one transition run end to end, we scope a shorter arc and I quote it then.

Twelve sessions over six months. $4,000 a month, or paid in full.

Pay monthly

The Arc runs $4,000 a month for six months. No premium for splitting it.

If your company will fund it

If your company has a development or coaching budget, I'll send an invoice-ready summary and a short justification memo you can forward to whoever approves it.

What a level is worth

At these bands, one level moves total compensation by six figures a year, and it keeps compounding through every refresh after.

One-on-one only. Six clients at any time, never more.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Who is this for?
  • Staff, Principal, and Distinguished engineers
  • Managers, from first-line up through Director and VP
  • People converting between IC and management, in either direction
  • Anyone I've mentored before. You already know how I work
Who is this not for?
  • Anyone who wants interview cramming, a resume rewrite, or answers from a distance
  • Anyone who wants reassurance more than the truth. I give blunt feedback, and this only pays off if you can take it and act on it
  • Anyone looking for a light-touch monthly check-in. This is hands-on and asks real work of you between sessions
Can you get me promoted in three or six months?

No. Senior promos run on a 12 to 18 month cycle you don't fully control: calibration windows, committee, your skip's capital, budget. Anyone promising a title inside a quarter is selling you a story.

What you do control is the case, the stakeholder map, the visible project, and the skill that closes the gap. That is what actually moves a promo, and it's the part most people get wrong or skip. In three to six months you won't be handed a title. You'll be on the path, visibly running the case, with skills and momentum that outlast our last session. The promo lands when the cycle turns, and by then you have the case and the skills to close it, with or without me.

How do we start?

Request a fit call. If it looks like a fit, we do one short call — fifteen or twenty minutes — to decide whether we should work together. If there's a real fit, we start with the Diagnostic.
